Swan Lake/Loch na hEala, by Michael Keegan-Dolan

Brooklyn Academy of Music / New York / Stage

“The strange heart beating where it lies,” wrote W. B. Yeats of another white swan. From Ireland comes an acclaimed deconstruction of Swan Lake, written, directed, and choreographed by Michael Keegan-Dolan, and performed by his company Teac Damsa. The score combines Nordic and Irish folk music, and invokes Irish myth. Expect feathers. —L.J.
